Scores of homes and businesses are already benefiting from Rade’s fast, point-to-point wireless broadband. We’re not reliant on landline, mobile or satellite signals; our service is provided by line of sight relay from local radio transmitters. It works on radio frequencies which are encrypted for security.
Coverage is subject to geographical conditions – the lie of the land – so we will always check our maps to pinpoint your property before arranging a visit.
Standard installation takes around 2 hours. Our engineer will attach a small receiver to your tv aerial and align for the best signal. We will then cable to the inside of your property; bringing, secure broadband to your home or office.
Some installations are more complex and, for example, may need a pole to provide extra height or a larger receiver for better reception. This is likely if you are a long way from the relay or there is tree cover between your home and the relay point. We will explain the costs before we carry out any work.
For wifi around the building you will need to connect to a network switch or wireless access point - if you don't have one, we can supply, setup and test one for a small one-off charge.
Our standard installation fee for residential customers is £180. Note: all connections are subject to survey.
Contract: 12 month minimum term, followed by a rolling monthly contract thereafter.
